Buying in to a program, system, coach, ...for the love of basketball

And they sold him on The Triangle Offense. 

If he wouldn’t buy in… It would have caused problems.

So when I choose & build the offense I’m running I choose what will MAXIMIZE the value of my Bests Players first!!  ​

Some players buy in immediately because it’s who they are, how they were raised.

Some players need the relationship, the trust, the mutual respect.

Some need the excitement and energy from the coach.

Some just need the proof in the pudding.

And a select few need to know how you’re going to help them get theirs. 
(which isn’t a bad thing or way to think about it for these players…)

So really getting players to buy in is truly multi-faceted. 

And sometimes you really just need to get one or two to buy in… then the rest follow… Yeah… The Leaders (typically the best players on the team)

​BUT if you neglect your ROLE Players then they in larger numbers will cause problems just the same.
